This is interesting…I’d like to know what you would recommend in my situation. My goal is to shed about 15 pounds in the next couple of months and finally have six pack abs. But there are such a huge number of “systems” out there and I have no idea which one to trust. Can somebody point me towards a good plan for burning fat and adding solid muscle?

I’m working on getting six pack abs right now and it’s not easy. Do you have any recommendations as far as a good six pack abs diet? My trainer says that oatmeal, egg whites of course, broccoli, blueberries and salmon are all important to include in your diet…anything else I’m not thinking of?

Thanks for the info, your core muscles are the most important ones, if they aren’t strong then you can’t build your other muscles.

Building your core is vital. I see too many guys that only workout their glamour muscles and wonder why compound lifts like deads and benching are difficult.

I think it’s impressive when you take people that have never made the elevators and make gear at the end of the first day. Then, the next day you get them cleaning and jerking. That’s awesome! I’ve been at a level one course USAW Club Coach, as well, and I would say that the CrossFit Olympic Lifting Certifications are better for learning the lifts. If you have the opportunity to attend these that I recommend.
