I Cannot Stop Eating Bad Foods…Help!
A question that I received from one of my followers is, “I cannot stop eating bad foods…help!!!”. This is an excellent question and will probably be the toughest thing you will ever go through with respect to weight loss. It is very difficult to make the transition after years and years of eating bad food habitually. Once you get used to this lifestyle change, doorways will open where there were only walls.
2 Week Phase
To make this lifestyle change, you are going to need to set aside 2 weeks, for preparation purposes, before actually restricting your calories for weight loss. If you restrict your calories too soon, you are going to find yourself craving bad foods and then crashing with a nasty binge eating session.
The goal during this 2 week period is to make that transition from eating bad foods to eating healthy foods. Do not restrict your calories at all in this 2 week phase. Eat as much as you want. The only catch is, you need to start swapping out the junk and focus on good food like poultry, fish, lean beef, vegetables, fruits, and grains. By the end of the second week you should be eating mostly healthy foods with confidence and no real desire to go back. There is nothing wrong with eating a reasonable portion of your favorite junk foods. It becomes a problem when your favorite junk foods become your diet.
Curve your Sweet Tooth with Fruit
Believe it or not, fruit can actually be quite efficient at taking care of that sweet tooth. Fruit that works for me include: pineapple, red grapes, oranges, and mango. Fruits are very tasty, contain vitamins, have no bad fats, and are low in calories.
